This month has been extremely busy for me trying to juggle work, school and MCAT preparation and trying to squeeze a little bit of volunteering in there. I have begun tutoring for refugee children, teaching them Maths and English so they can catch up in school but honestly the children I have been tutoring have made huge strides in the right direction and I cannot be any more proud of them. I have been able to do 4 sessions for an hour each every weekend with the Vibha NPO, who I had previously been volunteering with last year. I decided to join back as I understand what it feels like to move to another country with the daunting feeling of not understanding the school system.
